Walk directly on the muddy tidal zone among freestanding sea stacks. This area is only accessible during low tide.
The Bay of Fundy experiences the highest tides on Earth, rising up to 16 meters (53 feet). During low tide, you can walk along 2 kilometers of shoreline to see over 20 sandstone flowerpot rocks up close.
Never venture onto the flats if the tide is rising. The park operates from mid-May to late October. Your ticket is valid for two consecutive days so you can see both tide cycles.

This is the primary entry point to the most famous sea stacks. You must descend a metal staircase with 99 steps to reach the mud. A shuttle service connects the visitor center to this access point for $1.74 CAD. You will have 101 steps to climb back up when you leave.

This alternative access path features a gentle incline and benches. It is designed for visitors who prefer to avoid stairs. While the ramp is wheelchair accessible, the ocean floor mud is generally too challenging to navigate on wheels.

Located at the southern end of the park, this sandy cove offers a more expansive beach area. You must walk a longer trail to reach it. It provides a quieter space away from the crowds gathered near the primary flowerpots.
